CYCLES

Everyone experiences cycles, ups and downs; highs and lows. It is a part of life. What defines us is how we respond to the lows and how we cherish the highs. You can look at situations in a negative manner or look at them positive and take a moment to learn from them. This is how we improve and build ourselves. In our current society, we care about those around us too much. We are involved more than ever in every person’s life due to social media. We have created a society of stalkers and alternate realities. Most people can portray their life better than it actually is, due to social media. Inevitably, this boosts the standard of others attempting to live to this great expectation. The only expectation you need to worry about is your own bliss. How do we create our own bliss? Bliss is rooted with positivity and appreciation. Take small moments out of your day, and allow for a second to appreciate them. Or if it is a toxic moment, look how you can learn or work towards a better position in the future. Happiness is not derived from external resources, it comes from within. Although, surrounding yourself with people who support you as much as you support them is a strong way to achieve this standard. Being able to release toxic people is crucial to make room for beneficial individuals.
